Job summary

J.R. & Co., Inc. is seeking a Roofing Service Technician to lead and perform commercial low slope roofing installations with safety and quality at the forefront.

The role covers on-site leadership, coordination with customers, and ensuring timely project completion in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of roofing experience, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of roofing experience (preferred).
• Experience with metal roofing, coping, and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate schedule adjustments to customers and management.
• Guide, mentor, and manage service technicians on assignments and expectations.
• Clean, maintain, and stock assigned work truck.
• Ensure necessary materials are kept stocked in the warehouse.
• Stock and maintain van with necessary materials.
• Organize and schedule with multiple clients and job scopes.
• Communicate updates and status directly with sales and management staff.
• Clock hours for service jobs and ensure crew accurately logs times and jobs in buildertrend.
• Complete work orders and submit them upon completion to submit for payment.
