Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Commercial Roofing Superintendent.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and manufacturer instructions.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all field roofing personnel and oversee daily roofing operations on assigned projects.
• Work closely with business owners and general contractors to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Control and monitor project costs, ensuring profitability and adherence to budgets.
• Coordinate project mobilization, logistics, and demobilization, including site setup and material storage.
• Attend project preconstruction meetings to understand project scope and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with site mobilization plans, including storage areas, delivery routes, material distribution, and safety protocols.
• Conduct site inspections to document existing conditions and ensure housekeeping and safety measures.
• Oversee material storage and protection, ensuring materials meet construction specs and are stored properly.
• Inspect substrates and monitor installation to ensure adherence to plans and instructions.
• Ensure proper installation techniques, including adhesives, fasteners, lapping, jointing, and thickness requirements.
• Maintain daily project documentation including quality control photos, daily reports, and communicating deficiencies.
• Monitor weather conditions and implement protective measures for ongoing work.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
• Represent Rackley Roofing Company, Inc. professionally to customers, vendors, and industry professionals.
