Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial performance of construction projects in London. You will oversee procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting, working closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers and clients.

You will mentor junior surveyors while maintaining rigorous cost control to protect project margins. A degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred; CIOB or RICS accreditation is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Strong understanding of commercial management and project delivery.
• Ability to manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
• Experience with risk management and protecting project margins.
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying; CIOB/RICS accreditation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of construction projects.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and budgets.
• Produce forecasts and commercial reports for senior management.
• Identify commercial issues and variations with operational teams.
• Support junior commercial staff and maintain standards across projects.
