Job summary

Re-Create Companies in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Commercial Masonry Foreman to lead daily field operations on commercial masonry projects across the Phoenix area. This hands-on leadership role requires directing crews, performing layout, maintaining quality and safety, and keeping projects moving on schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of commercial masonry experience, can read blueprints, manage safety, and communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking crews.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of commercial masonry experience.
• Experience leading masonry crews on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret commercial blueprints and specifications.
• Comfortable using tablets and daily reporting systems.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to travel locally between Phoenix-area jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for commercial masonry projects.
• Assign work and manage crew productivity per project priorities and schedules.
• Perform layout, elevations, block counts, and jobsite setup.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and documents.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, and manpower to prevent delays.
• Maintain quality-control standards throughout each phase of construction.
• Identify field conflicts and layout discrepancies before they affect production.
• Communicate jobsite issues promptly to the Superintendent.
• Enforce OSHA requirements and safety procedures; lead toolbox talks.
• Complete required reports and project documentation using a tablet.
• Train and mentor crew members while maintaining accountability.
