Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director of Commercial Manufacturing in San Diego (remote-friendly) to lead manufacturing planning, CMO governance and technology transfer across our external network. This role ensures reliable supply, supports regulatory filings and partners with Quality, Regulatory and Commercial teams to translate forecasts into executable manufacturing plans.

The role requires 8+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing and a strong track record in process

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline required.
8+ years of progressive experience leading pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging shop floor activities.
Experience with multiple dosage forms including oral solids.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate manufacturing activities at CMOs for commercial drug products to ensure uninterrupted market supply.
Establish and maintain manufacturing schedules based on internal sales forecasts and S&OP decisions.
Verify suitability, qualification and validation of processes at CMOs for drug product.
Provide manufacturing support and troubleshooting on internal and external projects.
Maintain knowledge of US and EU GMPs and regulatory guidance for manufacturing and packaging.
Represent manufacturing for technical due diligence, CMO selection, contracting support, and network strategy.
Author/edit technical reports on manufacturing-related subjects.
Assist with regulatory inspections and audits.
Assist with development of CMC sections of regulatory submissions.
