Job summary
Commercial Appliance Parts & Service, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Kitchen & HVAC Technician to oversee field work and mentor a team of service technicians.
The position requires a valid Florida Contractor License, EPA Type II certification, and hands-on experience with commercial HVAC and kitchen equipment.
You will troubleshoot, repair, and supervise daily service operations, while coordinating with customers and participating in on‑call rotations.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Contractor License – REQUIRED.
- EPA Type II Certification or higher – REQUIRED.
- Commercial HVAC experience
- Commercial kitchen equipment experience
- Previous lead or supervisory experience
- Drug screen and criminal background screening required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Driving record must align with safety standards
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support service technicians
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment
- Assist technicians with complex service calls and diagnostics
- Help oversee daily service operations and technician performance
- Communicate with customers and ensure quality service
- Participate in the on‑call rotation
