Job summary

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking a Lead Commercial Kitchen & HVAC Technician for the Tampa Bay area. This hands-on leadership role requires strong experience in both commercial HVAC and commercial kitchen equipment, and a track record of guiding teams to deliver reliable service.

You will lead technicians, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen gear, oversee daily service operations, and ensure high‑quality customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Contractor License – REQUIRED.
• EPA Type II Certification or higher – REQUIRED.
• Commercial HVAC experience
• Commercial kitchen equipment experience
• Previous lead or supervisory experience
• Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Driving record must align with safety standards

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support service technicians
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment
• Assist technicians with complex service calls and diagnostics
• Help oversee daily service operations and technician performance
• Communicate with customers and ensure quality service
• Participate in the on‑call rotation
