Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals seeks an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager in Orlando to own a portfolio of commercial clients, serve as the primary contact for insurance needs, and coordinate policy placement and risk management.

You will work with underwriters and carriers, prepare coverage summaries and proposals, monitor renewals, support claims, and ensure accurate recordkeeping while delivering proactive, compliant service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance account management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines, coverages, and program structures.
• Ability to manage a book of business and meet renewal deadlines.
• Familiarity with insurance management systems and policy administration.
• Understanding of risk assessment and underwriting information.
• Experience coordinating with underwriters and carriers to secure coverage.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, serving as the main contact for day-to-day service and coverage inquiries.
• Coordinate the underwriting and placement of commercial policies, gathering submissions, marketing to carriers, and negotiating terms and pricing.
• Conduct risk assessments and exposure analyses to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Prepare and deliver coverage summaries, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs and industry sectors.
• Process policy changes, renewals, certificates of insurance, and endorsements accurately and within required timelines.
• Monitor account activity and client satisfaction, implementing service plans that support long-term retention and account growth.
• Support clients through the claims process, liaising with carriers, advocating on their behalf, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records within insurance management systems, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
