Guitar Center in Portland, OR seeks a Lead Commercial Installer to manage installation, startup and closeout of complex AV and security systems. You will support Project Managers in design, oversee multiple crews, and ensure turnkey delivery to clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working in the electronic field where AC/DC theory is used daily.
• Proper hand and power tool operations and safety.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Installs and pulls wire as per specifications.
• Installs and wires equipment used in systems.
• Tests all equipment after termination to ensure performance.
• Comply with safety manual and maintain personal and team safety.
• Maintain paperwork, logs, time cards, and van stock.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on delays and status.
• Oversee installation of multiple crews to meet estimates.
• Train apprentices on procedures and installation techniques.
• Ensure work meets company standards and is completed within estimates.
