Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems in Ramsey, NJ.

The role includes tests, data analysis, and recommendations to improve reliability, while adhering to NFPA 70e and Lockout Tag Out. You will lead and train apprentices and co-workers, maintain maintenance records, and communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience working daily on commercial or industrial HVAC equipment/systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including safety policies and SOPs.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration cycle and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and decipher electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in pipefitting, including black pipe and copper.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and service HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Conduct tests and analyze data to improve system reliability.
• Maintain organized maintenance records and communicate effectively.
• Lead and train apprentices and co-workers.
• Follow all safety standards, including NFPA 70e and Lockout Tag Out.
