KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Service Manager – Commercial/Industrial HVAC in Raleigh, NC. This on-site, full-time role leads a team of HVAC technicians to deliver maintenance, repairs, and retrofit solutions while ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, strong leadership, and financial acumen to meet profitability targets. Expect collaboration with customers and internal teams, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, electronics, controls, and troubleshooting.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or Associate/technical HVAC certificate preferred.
• Proven ability to lead technicians and manage service operations.
• Strong understanding of financial performance, productivity, and service metrics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and service-management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and mentor Commercial HVAC Service Technicians.
• Plan and review daily workloads and performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and develop technicians.
• Hire, onboard, and train staff as needed.
• Promote safety and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage dispatch, scheduling, and material coordination.
• Review work for quality and accuracy.
• Provide field technical support to technicians.
• Drive revenue targets in service and maintenance.
• Maintain high customer relationships and handle escalations.
