AlphaGov seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through installation and final closeout.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial mechanical contracting, with hands-on responsibility for budgets, schedules, field operations, subcontractors, and client relationships. This role requires leadership and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in PM for commercial HVAC or mechanical construction.
• Ability to independently manage projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specs accurately.
• Experience with budgets, RFIs, change orders, and subcontractor performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead commercial HVAC/mechanical construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, cost projections, and labor plans.
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and equipment selections for issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, procurement, and project docs.
• Monitor costs, labor hours, materials, and subcontractor costs; take corrective action.
• Maintain communication with general contractors, owners, engineers, inspectors, and teams.
• Coordinate permits, inspections, equipment deliveries, startup, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee punch lists, warranty docs, turnover, and closeout activities.
