Job summary

Hoffmann Brothers, LLC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer to install air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and related equipment for commercial and residential clients in St. Louis, MO.

You will lead an installation team, read blueprints, size ducts and piping, and ensure safe, high-quality work while maintaining clear communication with customers. Applicants should have 5+ years of HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC Field.
• Professional in all situations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate with customers clearly throughout the service.
• Ability to adjust communications for best customer experience.
• Ability to create detailed job notes in customer accounts.
• Ability to teach and learn with coworkers in meetings and one-to-one interactions.
• Willingness to try new ideas and recommend process improvements.
• Frequent communication with dispatchers for scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work safely and help ensure safe work for colleagues.
• OSHA knowledge and safety practices as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead install team in all duties.
• Understand duct sizing, layout and fabrication.
• Understand refrigerant line sizing, layout, evacuation and pressure testing.
• Perform package rooftop installations.
• Perform large commercial split system installations.
• Perform DOAS unit installations.
• Perform boiler installations (steam and hot water).
• Perform chiller installations.
• Perform VRF installations.
• Perform mini split installation.
• Understand gas pipe sizing, layout and fabrication.
• Understand electrical disconnect, wire and fuse sizing and installation.
• Read blueprints.
• Understand control wiring.
• Determine materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete a project.
• Complete daily logs and paperwork for projects.
