Job summary

Getzschmans Heating & Cooling, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking an HVAC Construction Supervisor to lead commercial HVAC crews in Omaha-area projects. You will oversee daily field activities, ensure installations meet codes and specs, and keep projects on schedule while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, with strong leadership and the ability to train and mentor crew members. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-site are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial HVAC construction experience.
• 1–2 years of crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC installation, codes, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
• Experience coordinating crews, materials, and job site activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside HVAC construction crews on assigned job sites.
• Oversee daily installation activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
• Assign tasks, coordinate manpower, and monitor crew productivity.
• Ensure installations meet quality standards, building codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and job site needs.
• Provide hands-on guidance, training, and support to crew members.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce job site safety standards.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to the Manager of HVAC Commercial Construction.
• Identify and resolve job site issues to help keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain accurate job site documentation and daily reporting.
