Job summary

Anytime Flooring is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead commercial flooring projects from contract to closeout in the Southeast region. You will manage scheduling, budgets, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure profitability, safety, quality, and client satisfaction while meeting contract requirements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in construction management and 5+ years of experience, with strong MS Office skills, field capacity, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Knowledge of commercial systems.
• Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs.
• Ability to perform construction tasks in the field if needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer relations focus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and scheduling for assigned projects, maintaining targeted schedules and completion dates.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and client contract compliance throughout each project.
• Review contracts, scopes of work, material requirements, and budgets to understand project requirements and financial goals.
• Manage project budgets and profitability by monitoring labor, material, subcontractor, equipment, and other costs.
• Review weekly job cost reports, identify budget overruns, and implement corrective actions to protect margins.
• Prepare monthly cost-to-complete projections and communicate changes to leadership.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to align with approved scopes, pricing, and schedules.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and payment requests.
• Track change orders from identification through approval and communicate changes to leadership.
• Coordinate with accounting to provide accurate monthly billing information and ensure billable materials are captured.
• Support timely collections by resolving billing discrepancies and client questions.
• Maintain complete project documentation including schedules, approvals, delivery records, and closeout requirements.
• Communicate proactively with clients and respond promptly to questions.
