Job summary

Pace Electric Inc is seeking a Commercial Electrical Job Foreman to lead commercial electrical and controls field operations in Layton, Utah. You will own project sequencing, crew safety, and quality execution on high-profile projects, mentoring apprentices and journeymen.

Qualifications

Active Utah State Journeyman License required.
Strong knowledge of the NEC and commercial installation practices.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally up to 10%.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan daily and weekly work sequencing and assign field tasks to apprentices and journeymen based on skill.
Read and interpret project drawings, specs, and submittals to lay out site work.
Enforce jobsite safety standards including Lockout/Tagout and PPE compliance.
Perform quality control checks on installed commercial systems prior to inspections.
Track labor hours, materials, and progress and report to Project Manager.
Coordinate with other foremen and mentor crew members to ensure high performance.
