Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of drywall tapers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, drywall foremen, and other trades to coordinate taping activities and align with milestones.
• Oversee all phases of the drywall taping process, ensuring smooth, paint-ready surfaces that meet standards.
• Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are available, in good condition, and used efficiently.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Train crew on proper techniques and promote skill development.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of work, materials used, crew hours, and field issues.
• Identify issues early and propose effective solutions to keep the job on track.
