Job summary

gpac is seeking a Commercial Drywall Project Manager to join its expanding team. This role emphasizes meticulous cost estimation, coordination with project managers and superintendents, and budget management for diverse commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of drywall project management experience, proficiency with On Screen Takeoff, Edge, and Wind Bid, and a preference for OSHA certification and bilingual abilities. Experience replacing a degree will be considered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Commercial Drywall Project Management experience, including metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, trim and door work.
• Proficient with estimating software On Screen Takeoff, Edge and Wind Bid.
• OSHA Certification and bilingual abilities preferred.
• Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost and labor estimates for commercial drywall projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to review contracts and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Create, manage, and review project budgets to align estimates with client expectations and scope.
• Communicate daily with clients, project teams, and subcontractors about project details and pricing changes.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, RFQs, and Change Orders as needed.
• Estimate and manage projects ranging from $500K to $10M, including restaurants, warehouses, and retail spaces.
