Job summary

Acousti Engineering seeks an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to lead commercial drywall projects from inception to completion. You will estimate, bid, and manage projects to ensure timely, profitable execution while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

You will oversee takeoffs, material orders, scheduling, and communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of proven project management experience in commercial drywall/ceiling projects.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope and identify risks, confirming expectations with all stakeholders.
• Ensure bids are accurate and manage projects to meet profit targets.
• Oversee projects from initiation to completion, including take-offs, material orders, and scheduling.
• Maintain pricing and proposal model understanding to secure profitable projects.
• Lead client interactions and sales efforts through project close; develop new opportunities.
• Negotiate material buyouts to secure best pricing and respond to proposals and RFPs.
• Track and control project schedules and budgets daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
