Job summary

DuraServ is seeking experienced technicians for on-site work in Atlanta, GA. You will diagnose, install, and service commercial dock and door systems, ensuring work meets manufacturer standards and safety policies.

You’ll read manuals, interpret diagrams, and document all service activity with precision. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of hands-on dock/door experience, welding or mechanical skills, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet physical demands: outdoor fieldwork, frequent ladder use, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school valued.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial dock and door systems including sectional/rolling doors, dock levelers and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose root causes with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret manuals and wiring diagrams to guide diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean job site and comply with OSHA safety policies.
• Document all service activity with precision and communicate real-time updates to customers.
