Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Lead Tech will manage and perform duties such as facility improvements in Restaurants and Retail Establishments, remodels, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Equipment Installations, and manage the crew assisting with project completion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager/Project Manager/Superintendents with managing and completing building or equipment repairs, demolition, removal, and/or installation of equipment, and general construction tasks on time and under budget.
• Effective communication with project managers and customers to ensure scope understanding.
• Lead a crew of technicians, report performance issues, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Conduct surveys, source and coordinate subcontractors, and manage materials procurement.
• Follow project scope and site protocols, recognize problems outside scope, and communicate effectively.
• Maintain a clean work environment, ensure crew adherence to schedules and safety, and complete required paperwork.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in General Contracting and use of hand tools.
• Ability to manage time and complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Computer skills, general trade knowledge, and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of construction safety procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, 18+ years old, able to pass background checks, and capable of traveling extensively.

Physical Demands:

• Move around the work site, operate tools, and work in small spaces.
• Communicate with team and clients, and handle equipment weighing over 50 lbs.
