Job summary

Baker Construction & Development, Inc. in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities, maintain schedules, enforce safety, manage subs, and ensure quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of superintendent experience, strong knowledge of framing, MEP, and reading blueprints, with OSHA 30 certification and proficiency with Procore or MS Project. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of structural framing, MEP systems, finishes, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of WA/ID building codes and inspection requirements preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day onsite operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Maintain project schedules and enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor progress, resolve conflicts, and manage scope changes.
• Prepare daily reports, conduct site meetings, and document milestones.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, specs, and plans.
