Job summary

HeadwatersConstructionCompany is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial projects. You will manage daily site activities, coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure on-time, efficient project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of commercial construction field experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite logistics.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, specs, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification preferred.
• Experience with scheduling/field reporting software preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries to maintain project schedules.
• Develop and maintain look-aheads and manage daily project sequencing.
• Ensure work complies with project plans, specs, quality standards, and contract requirements.
• Maintain and enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance on all jobsite activities.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, identify issues, and resolve field challenges proactively.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate project expectations.
• Coordinate inspections, maintain daily reports, sitelogs, and project documentation.
• Partner with Project Managers to support planning, scheduling, and successful execution.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
