Job summary

Hubbell Realty Company is seeking an onsite Commercial Construction Project Superintendent to lead field teams, coordinate with the Project Manager and Director of Field Operations, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of projects.

You will plan and supervise multiple subs, enforce safety rules, manage submittals, drawings, and daily reports, and drive project success from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering or equivalent.
• Five years of project superintendent experience on projects ranging from $500,000 to $15 million.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project scheduling software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial building construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, federal, state, municipal and project-specific safety regulations; OSHA 10 hour certified preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and must be bondable; liability insurance proof.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, supervise, and coordinate multiple subcontractors and suppliers for the project assigned.
• Interface with project owners, building officials, architects, engineers, and project service providers.
• Ensure that all construction activities meet master project schedule milestones with a two-week look-ahead schedule.
• Enforce Hubbell’s safety policies and ensure subcontractors comply with safety rules.
• Oversee quality control and testing coordination; manage drawings/submittals and RFIs.
• Review and approve subcontractor requisitions and invoices; supervise assistants and trainees.
