Job summary

Pioneer Companies is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities for designated projects in New York. The role requires coordinating field operations, managing labor and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality as outlined in contract documents.

You will also work with Building Engineers and the Property Manager on project locations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract documents and plans.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all on-site construction activities and manage project schedule.
• Direct labor, subcontractors and vendors to meet quality standards.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, meetings, and progress photos.
• Schedule tests, inspections, and utility coordination with authorities and contractors.
• Ensure project close-out includes CO, as-builts, and punch list completion.
