Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting places a Project Manager for leading commercial construction projects across South Florida, including renewations and occupied campuses. You will own projects from contract award through closeout and warranty, with direct responsibility for budgets and client relationships.

This full-time role demands at least 5 years of PM experience with a commercial GC, and strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, procurement, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of project management with a commercial GC.
• Experience independently managing commercial projects from inception to closeout.
• Proficient in commercial contracts, drawings, specs, building systems, sequencing, and procurement.
• Hands-on financial management including budgets, forecasts, and WIP reporting.
• Ability to prepare owner pay apps and review subcontractor payments.
• Experience administering owner contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Ability to identify scope gaps and procurement risks early.
• Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, and project docs.
• Ability to partner with Superintendents on site logistics and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects across South Florida, including renovations and on-site management.
• Own projects from contract award through closeout and warranty.
• Manage project financials, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contract administration.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals.
• Ensure safety, scheduling, and quality on active construction sites.
