You will guide estimating from conceptual budgets through final bid submission, coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to assess scope and feasibility. The role requires a strong background in commercial general contracting, experience estimating multiple trades, and the ability to independently manage estimates while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.
• 5+ years of commercial estimating or preconstruction experience preferred.
• Experience estimating multiple trades and reading drawings/specs.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed construction estimates fromConceptual design through final bid submission (construction).
• Review drawings, specs, and documents to determine scope and pricing.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Develop budgets, estimates, and detailed cost breakdowns.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals for competitive pricing.
• Prepare bid comparisons, scope reviews, and bid leveling.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and preconstruction teams during estimating.
• Research current pricing, labor rates, and market conditions.
