Job summary

Bass Commercial Concrete, LLC is looking for a Commercial Concrete Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations of commercial concrete projects. You will coordinate with project managers, supervise crews, and drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery across sites in Arkansas.

You will lead formwork, pouring, finishing, and curing, while managing budgets and resources, ensuring adherence to specs and OSHA standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial concrete construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of concrete construction methods, techniques, and materials.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee concrete construction activities, including layout, formwork, reinforcing, pouring, curing, and finishing.
• Ensure all work is executed per project specs, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Manage labor, equipment, and materials to maintain efficiency and productivity on-site.
• Coordinate with project managers to develop schedules, milestones, and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor field crews, subcontractors, and labor teams, fostering collaboration.
