Responsibilities

• Lead coding team to ensure accurate and timely coding and submission of claims.


• Oversee compliance with medical billing regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid regulations.


• Review medical records for proper ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding and ensure adherence to healthcare billing standards.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health insurance policies, Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payer requirements.


• Collaborate with clinical staff to verify documentation accuracy in electronic health records (EHR) systems.


• Monitor revenue cycle management processes from patient registration through final payment collection.


• Implement best practices in hospital revenue cycle management to maximize reimbursement rates.
