Job summary

Code Ninjas Wildwood is seeking a Lead Code Sensei to join our team, overseeing day-to-day coaching and student engagement in a fun, safe learning environment for kids ages 5–14. You will teach computer programming concepts using our Code Ninjas curriculum, guide projects, support creative problem solving, and collaborate with fellow instructors to refine materials.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or mentorship role.
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources.

Responsibilities

• Teach computer programming concepts to students using the Code Ninjas curriculum.
• Guide students through coding projects and challenges, offering support and encouragement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
• Assist students in troubleshooting technical issues and debugging code.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians as needed.
• Collaborate with other instructors to develop and refine curriculum materials.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in technology and education.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
