Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking an experienced Cockpit Systems Engineer to lead development, validation and integration of cockpit trim components for vehicles. You will ensure FMVSS compliance, perform testing, and drive design decisions from concept through launch.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive cockpit systems, PLM release experience, and collaboration with internal/external teams to meet program milestones. Strong communication and office software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical)
• 5+ years in automotive Cockpit System engineering
• Experience with FMVSS/IIHS or other regulatory validation

Responsibilities

• Lead safety validation, development, material selection and launch of cockpit system components.
• Coordinate testing to meet DVP, FMVSS, and system-level targets.
• Validate cockpit systems and review test loads, setups, and results.
• Ensure packaging compatibility and system-level functionality.
• Lead product development from concept to launch.
• Conduct supplier/internal design reviews to resolve issues.
• Ensure trim components are accommodated by cockpit systems.
• Define and integrate CC/SC with adjacent systems.
• Deliver on time with PPAP documentation.
• Support prototype builds, DV/PV and launch readiness.
