Job summary

• Knowledge of SSPC/NACE surface preparation standards.
• Experience on tank, pipeline, or structural steel coatings.

Responsibilities

• Plan inspection hold points from coating specs.
• Verify surface preparation, application and cure with sign-off at each hold point.
• Perform adhesion and holiday testing.
• Write inspection reports relied on by the owner and engineer.
• Supervise Level 1 inspectors on larger projects.
• Review logs and coordinate with applicators.
