Job summary

AFC Materials Group is seeking a Lead Coating Operator for the 2nd shift at our Lake in the Hills, IL facility. This role combines hands-on coating equipment operation with leadership duties to guide the coating team and uphold quality standards.

You will train and support operators, ensure safe, efficient production, and participate in shift transitions as we move toward a 12-hour day/night schedule by year-end.

Lead Coating Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: Lake in the Hills, IL

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 / hr + Shift Differential

Current Schedule: 2nd Shift- Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Upcoming Schedule Transition:
We are in the process of transitioning to a 12-hour day/night shift schedule by the end of the year. Employees in this role will need to be able to transition to our Night Shift rotating schedule once this shift transition is implemented.

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week -Rotating Bi-Weekly)

Training Requirement: All new hires are required to train on 1st shift or 2nd shift for the first 30-90 days of employment before transitioning to their assigned schedule.
