Job summary

Sylvania is looking for a Head Coach for the Girls’ Track and Field team at the middle school level. The coach will be responsible for organizing and promoting a comprehensive athletic program that meets the needs of the school community while providing effective leadership.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the assigned sport and previous coaching experience, ensuring a positive learning environment and promoting academic achievement among athletes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and background in assigned sport.
• Previous coaching experience in assigned sport is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and promotes the athletic program for the school community.
• Assesses players' skills and assigns team positions.
• Develops practice schedules for individual and team development.
• Monitors academic eligibility of team members.
