Job summary

KidStrong South Denver is seeking a dynamic Lead Coach for the Parker center. You will deliver engaging, educational classes for children ages 2–11 and guide families with a friendly, energetic presence.

Responsibilities include leading the curriculum, mentoring fellow coaches, and stepping in for GM/AGM when needed. Join a passionate team focused on growth, safety, and fun for every child.

Qualifications

  • Passion for helping kids is essential.
  • Coaching background with children ages 2–11.
  • Excellent communication with parents and guardians.
  • Energetic, engaging presence in every class.
  • Mentor to other coaches with strong interpersonal skills.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fun, dynamic classes to develop brainpower and physical skills for kids up to 11.
  • Understand KidStrong curriculum and communicate it clearly to families.
  • Achieve and maintain Coach Certification through the program's training.
  • Create positive interactions with families before, during, and after class.
  • Ensure classes run smoothly and on time.
  • Maintain team connectivity and keep colleagues informed.
  • Lead the center in absence of GM/AGM and assist in events and initiatives.
  • Support center upkeep and cleanliness.
  • Be a positive, energetic role model for students and families.

Job Title: KidStrong Lead Coach

Center: Parker

Reports To: General Manager / Assistant General Manager

Do kids look up to you like you're the latest superhero? Do parents see you as the ultimate sidekick in their child's development? KidStrong is on the hunt for a Lead Coach who can make our center buzz with energy and excitement! As our third key, you'll be the role model, the motivator, and the go-to hero for our students and their families.

What You'll Do
Coach
  • Like a Pro: Deliver fun, dynamic classes that boost brainpower, physical skills, and develop character for kids walking to 11 years old
  • Master of Curriculum: Understand the magic behind KidStrong's programs and communicate it with flair
  • Be the Best: Achieve Coach Certification and keep leveling up your skills like you're in a video game with our stellar training programs
  • Family Friend: Create positive interactions with families before, during, and after class - you're the reason they love KidStrong
  • Class Commander: Ensure classes run smoothly and on time, every time. No tardy bells here
Leadership Duties
  • Slack Savvy: Keep the team connected and in the loop. Channel your inner tech wizard
  • Family Connector: Keep families engaged and excited about KidStrong. Think of yourself as the social glue that keeps everyone together
Center Operations
  • Acting GM/AGM: Step up and lead the center when the GM and AGM are away
  • Event Enthusiast: Assist in community events and center initiatives. Party planner meets motivational speaker
  • Clean & Green: Participate in the upkeep and maintenance of our awesome center. Cleanliness is next to awesomeness

  • Passion for helping Kids: Non-negotiable. You must love working with children.
  • Coaching Background: Experience with kids aged 2 - 11 years old. If you've coached a herd of cats, you're overqualified and also why did you do that?
  • Communication Whiz: Comfortably speak to parents and guardians. Channel your inner motivational speaker
  • Energetic & Fun: Bring high energy and a clear, engaging presence to every class
  • Mentorship Magic: Be a mentor to other coaches, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR Certified: Or willingness to get certified, safety first!
