Job summary

Nelson Numeric a Sussek Machine Company in Bloomington, MN seeks an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to lead advanced Swiss turning for high-precision aerospace components. You will own the programming lifecycle from NPI/DFM reviews to tooling optimization and shop-floor support.

The role requires 5–10+ years of CNC Swiss programming, GD&T mastery, and familiarity with GibbsCAM/Mastercam in an AS9100/ITAR environment. On-site collaboration with setup machinists is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of CNC Swiss programming experience, aerospace or medical device background preferred.
• AAS degree in CNC Machining or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and multi-axis programming expertise.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ITAR standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize CNC Swiss programs and cutting strategies.
• Lead NPI, DFM input, and tooling/ process planning for aerospace parts.
• Support shop-floor with G-code troubleshooting and toolpath refinement.
• Drive continuous improvement and support FAI/PPAP as needed.
