The role emphasizes advanced Mastercam use, multi-axis programming, tooling selection, setup validation, GD&T, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Production.

Qualifications

• Advanced Mastercam proficiency for complex toolpaths.
• Strong CNC milling/turning with multi-axis experience.
• In-depth GD&T, tooling and fixture validation knowledge.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and derive machining steps.
• Independent troubleshooting and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot Mastercam programs for moderately to highly complex parts.
• Develop multi-axis toolpaths and high-efficiency machining strategies.
• Select and validate tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies.
• Lead setup validation, prove-outs, and first-article Runs.
• Ensure programs meet drawings, tolerances, GD&T and standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production on design intent.
• Create and maintain setup sheets, tool lists, and process documentation.
• Perform CNC Machine Technician Level 2 responsibilities when needed.
