Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Laser & CNC Machining Technician to join its production team. You will program, set up, and operate laser cutting and related fabrication equipment to meet demanding production specifications.

The ideal candidate has strong CNC machining experience, proficiency with Mastercam, and the ability to interpret blueprints with a high level of attention to detail. This hands-on role requires collaboration with project managers, shop leadership, and production staff to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience.
• 1+ year Mastercam experience.
• Proficient CNC programming with Mastercam.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Completion of a machining/CNC program preferred.
• Strong understanding of machining and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate laser cutting equipment.
• Read, interpret, and verify blueprints, drawings, measurements, and job documentation.
• Program CNC equipment using Mastercam.
• Apply knowledge of 3D, multi-axis machining, and SolidWorks within Mastercam.
• Stay current with software updates and technology related to laser cutting and CNC equipment.
• Work closely with project managers, shop leadership, drafters, and production team members to ensure accuracy and successful completion of jobs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
