Job summary

ArcMed is seeking a skilled CNC Setup/Program lead to mentor operators, program and edit CNC jobs, and drive Lean manufacturing initiatives in our New Jersey facility. You will interpret drawings, select tools, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality.

You will oversee daily production activities, promote 5S and safety, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to reduce scrap and downtime.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Strong English communication and collaboration.
• Ability to interact with all employees and customers.
• Demonstrates integrity and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Program, select, and edit CNC programs for milling and turning centers.
• Interpret drawings to manufacture parts using CNC.
• Set up machining equipment and mentor teammates.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Lead and monitor team performance and safety 5S.
• Work with quality dept to improve scrap rate and downtime.
