Job summary

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lead Machine/CNC Operator to manufacture products safely, with high quality and productivity. The role requires minimum 1 year of shop experience with CNC machinery, edge banders, and related equipment, plus strong reading of plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be familiar with computer usage and technology.
• Drafting or design experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality – Develop and implement a personal quality process to ensure items meet plans and company standards.
• Productivity – Lead Machine/CNC Operator must aim to generate substantial job output after training.
• Continuous Improvement – Proactively seek improved methods to reduce time and improve quality.
• Attendance – Be punctual and adhere to breaks and schedule.
