Job summary

Vertiv in Lincoln, NE is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and run production on the press brake, ensuring accurate bends and fastener installation for sheetmetal parts. You will read blueprints, monitor quality, and document production data to keep schedules on track.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of sheetmetal fabrication experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift operation and CNC experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years sheetmetal fabrication experience preferred.
• CNC operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and complete production schedules by following directions on the press brake programs.
• Operate press brake to add bends, pem insertion machines to add pem fasteners to sheetmetal parts, mask and/or unmask sheetmetal parts.
• Operate the punch machines.
• Follow instructions assigned by the supervisor, engineers & managers.
• Accurately report production information to supervisors and managers.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Troubleshoot defective processes.
• Safety hazard identification and elimination.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Other duties as requested.
