Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in machining or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years machining experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• CNC programming is required; manual operation is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders and other machine tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Lead, coach, train and assist other CNC operators.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers and gauges; verify dimensions.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S and OSHA procedures.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators and quality personnel to meet schedules.
