Job summary

Fulton Technology Corp is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to take ownership of our shop floor. This hands-on role requires confident programming, setup and operation of 3- and 4-axis CNC vertical mills and lathes, and leadership of machinists and operators.

You will assign jobs, troubleshoot setups, train team members, and ensure every part meets spec. Competitive pay with a company-matched IRA after one year, and a climate-controlled shop with Fanuc equipment for precision machining.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in high-precision machining
• Proficiency in CAM programming, setup and operation of CNC Vertical Mills and Lathes
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of shop math and material properties
• Skilled in using inspection tools
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job description

Fulton Technology Corp is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to take ownership of our shop floor. This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently program, set up and run 3- and 4-axis CNC vertical machining centers and lathes, and who is ready to lead others. The Lead Machinist may oversee machinists and machine operators: assigning jobs, troubleshooting setups, training newer team members, and making sure every part meets spec. Candidates must be fully self-sufficient and reliable, and able to ensure the quality of both their own work and their team's without supervision.

Pay: $30–$40+ per hour, depending on performance
