Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced CNC Machinist to set up and lead a small, Boeing-approved precision shop in Stanton, CA. You will set up lathes and mills (Okuma), mentor juniors, and drive quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a machining environment.
• Strong communication skills and team oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to set up complex jobs independently.
• Solid understanding of GD&T and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills (Okuma machines).
• Edit and troubleshoot programs on Okuma controls (P200 and newer).
• Lead and support a team of machinists and operators.
• Ensure parts meet quality and surface finish requirements.
• Optimize machining processes for efficiency and consistency.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
