Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking a skilled manufacturing professional to set up and operate mechanical equipment in a production environment. The role includes ensuring quality, troubleshooting complex issues, reading blueprints, and mentoring teammates.

Strong communication and adherence to 5S/ safety policies are required. Minimum five years of experience, proficiency with gaging instruments, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (gaging instruments).
• Strong problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment.
• Check that items produced pass quality control requirements.
• Perform complex troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments or repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Use required gaging instruments.
• Collaborate with team members to increase overall throughput.
• Consult with management and help with training.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring when needed.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards and safety policies.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
