Moderna seeks a Principal Scientist to lead quantitative science across the CMC lifecycle in Norwood, MA. You will deliver advanced statistical solutions, guide regulatory submissions, and deploy data-driven tools that impact decision-making in collaboration with Process Development, Analytical Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Digital teams.

The role requires an expert in statistical methods for CMC, strong programming and data visualization skills, and track record mentoring teams.

Competenze

• PhD in Statistics (5+ years) or MS (10–12 years) or BS (12–15 years) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Applied Math or related STEM.
• Proven track record delivering complex statistical projects in fast-paced environments.
• Deep expertise in CMC statistical methods: stability, DOE, regression, multivariate analysis, control charts.

Mansioni

• Define and execute statistical strategies supporting Moderna’s CMC and business objectives.
• Lead design and application of complex experimental and statistical models for stability, comparability, and lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into scalable data science solutions, including real-time trending, root cause analysis, and shelf-life estimation.
• Mentor team members and drive cross-functional collaboration.
