Job summary

Archer, collaborating with JPMorgan Chase & Co., seeks a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to shape secure cloud adoption across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will guide risk-based design, drive automation of controls, and mentor a matrixed team of security engineers and risk analysts.

This role emphasizes AI-assisted threat modeling, governance, and secure SDLC practices. You will partner with senior leaders to embed security by design, manage incidents, and report control effectiveness to executives.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support security workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code/security recommendations before adoption.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to evolving risk and control strategy for public cloud in line with policies and regulatory expectations.
• Lead risk-based design and assessment of security controls across cloud services and architectures.
• Chair governance forums and drive remediation, deviation tracking and benefits realization.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed security by design across engineering, product, and risk teams.
• Define guardrails and policy as code for infrastructure as code security; oversee Terraform reviews.
• Establish and maintain standards and playbooks; enable agile delivery of security programs at scale.
• Build, mentor, and lead a matrixed team of security engineers and risk analysts.
