Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect to define principles, standards, and design patterns for secure multi‑cloud and on‑premises environments. This role shapes enterprise guidelines adopted by product and engineering teams, and collaborates across functions to embed security by design.

You will drive policy, develop secure patterns, oversee incident response, and mentor cross‑functional teams with emphasis on AWS and on‑premises infrastructure, IAM, zero trust, and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8 years of experience in a related field.
• At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.
• Must have practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST) and relevant regs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guardrails.
• Lead working groups to define cybersecurity guidelines across product and enterprise architecture.
• Develop secure design patterns for engineering adoption.
• Support governance with non‑cyber architecture patterns, policies, and standards.
• Analyze risks to information systems and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure release processes.
