Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect to define principles, standards, and design patterns for secure products and enterprise tools across multi-cloud and on-premises environments.

You will lead cybersecurity guidance across product and enterprise architecture, develop secure patterns for engineering teams, and coordinate with stakeholders to integrate governance, risk, and AI security initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive cybersecurity experience.
At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.
Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and on-premises infrastructure.
Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guardrails.
Drive cybersecurity guidelines across product and enterprise architecture groups.
Develop secure design patterns adopted by engineering teams.
Contribute to governance patterns and security standards beyond cyber domain.
Provide complex risk analysis and recommended solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure release processes.
Define cybersecurity guardrails for efficient secure design adoption.
Participate in security events and incident response to close design gaps.
Research emerging security trends and technologies for appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security influences development decisions.
Incorporate vulnerability management, governance, risk, compliance into standards.
