Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen software quality practices across a growing portfolio of digital and connected solutions. You will partner with software R&D teams to implement and improve quality processes across digital, connected, SaaS, and cloud-based products while ensuring audit readiness.

This role focuses on software quality systems, SDLC governance, risk management, and process improvement, not testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software quality, quality systems, or software compliance.

Responsibilities

• Guide software teams through Quality Management System processes and documentation.
• Develop and improve software quality procedures, templates, and guidance documents.
• Support audits, controls, evidence collection, and remediation activities.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and release-readiness activities.
• Influence cross-functional teams to align quality with development priorities.
• Support quality practices within Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline
